I'm walking, yes indeed ... - a photo on Flickriver

            Diese süße Eisvogeldame ist nach einem (erfolglosen) Jagdversuch auf die Reste einer Baumwurzel zurückgeflogen und ist jetzt auf dem Weg zurück zur Spitze, von wo aus sie erneut nach Beute Ausschau hält. Die Beinchen sind recht kurz, eigentlich ist sie mehr zurückgewatschelt. Fliegen und Tauchen können sie gut, aber Laufen ist definitiv nicht so ganz das Ding eines Eisvogels. 😄
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen viele Details verloren. 

This cute kingfisher lady has flown back onto the remains of a tree root after an (unsuccessful) attempt to hunt and is now on her way back to the top, where she is once again scouting for prey. The little legs are quite short, actually she rather waddled back. Flying and diving work great, but walking is definitely not a kingfisher's thing. 😄
