Her mit dem Futter! / bring on the food! / in explore 20230731

            Diese Aufnahme ist gewisserweise der Blick in das Esszimmer einer Kohlmeisenfamilie. Die jungen Meisen verlassen ihre Nisthöhle meist ziemlich gleichzeitig. Sie bleiben dann einige Zeit noch zusammen und werden während dieser Tage weiter von den Eltern gefüttert. Das ganze findet als Ritual statt: der Jungvogel macht sich klein und gibt sich völlig hilflos um seine Eltern zu animieren weiter Leckerbissen anzuschleppen. Und wenn der Leckerbissen nicht schnell genug kommt, dann hilft man ggf. nach, wie auf diesem Bild. Letztendlich hat es mit der Mahlzeit dann aber doch nicht geklappt. Die Kohlmeise brachte einen Sonnenblumenkern, den der Jungvogel dann ausgespuckt oder verloren hat. Am Ende waren dann beide frustriert.
Tech. Detail: "Schwierig" bei dieser Aufnahme war es durch die Blätter und Äste des Busches hindurch freie Sicht auf die Fütterung zu erhaschen. Man hat dabei nicht viel Zeit, die ganze Szene hat keine zwei Sekunden gedauert, dann war der Elternvogel wieder verschwunden. 
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen euch viele Details verloren. 

In a way, this shot is a view into the dining room of a Great Tit family. The young tits usually leave their nest box at about the same time. They then stay together for a while and continue to be fed by their parents during these days. Feeding of the youngsters takes place as a ritual: the young bird makes itself small and acts completely helpless in order to encourage his parents to bring more delicacies. And if the treat doesn't come quickly enough, it will make sure that the food will find its destination, as you can see in this picture. In the end, the meal didn't work out after all. The great tit brought a sunflower seed, which the young bird then spat out or lost. Finaly they were both frustrated.
Tech Detail: "Difficult" in this shot was to get a clear view of the feeding through a narrow window in the leaves and branches of the bush. You don't have much time, the whole scene lasted less than two seconds, then the parent bird was gone again.
