            Jeden Abend verlassen die Graureiher die Wiesen und Felder und fliegen zu ihren Schlafplätzen. 
Tech. Detail: Mit einer Spiegelreflex und einem 600mm Tele in die Sonne schauen ist keine gute Idee. Ich hatte deshalb vom Sucher auf den LCD Monitor umgeschaltet und zum fotografieren die Kamera mit ausgestreckten Armen vor mein Gesicht gehalten. Der Autofokus der 7DII hat im AI Servo AF Modus bei diesem extremen Licht nicht funktioniert. Ich musste für jede Aufnahme den Reiher gezielt einmal mit dem AF erfassen, dann den Ausschnitt wählen, auslösen und wieder von vorne. Das war etwa so wie früher in der analogen Zeit.
Um besonders detailreich zu sehen wie der Reiher in den Sonnenuntergang fliegt drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen euch viele Details verloren.

Tech. detail: Looking directly into the sun through the finder of a DSLR with a 600mm lens is not such a good idea. Therefore I had switched from the finder to the LCD monitor and held the camera with extended arms in front of my face to get this picture. The 7DII also struggled: The AI Servo AF did not cope with the extreme light. I had to let the AF focus on the heron, then I'd re-compose, take one shot and start over for the next image. That reminded me of the time before digital. 
To view this Heron flying into the sunset with the best resolution in full screen press the "l" (small L)  and F11 keys. When enlarging the pic by just mouse clicking you lose quality. Enjoy!
