Junge Mandarinente II / Young Mandarin Duck II

            Weil ein Bild mal wieder mehr sagt als Worte zeige ich heute ausnahmsweise die zweite junge Mandarinente in Folge. Bei der vorangegangenen Aufnahme hatte ich geschrieben, dieses Küken sei spät dran. Den Grund sieht man auf dem heutigen Foto: so sehen die meisten anderen jungen Mandarinenten Anfang Juli aus. Die junge Dame übt anscheinend zu stolzieren und sieht dabei wie ich finde schon sehr elegant aus.
Tech. Info: Die kleine Ente kam ziemlich dicht an mich heran. Wie man sieht war ein Zoomobjektiv wieder unabdingbar dafür, dass ich diesen Ausschnitt wählen konnte. Beachte, dass bei dieser Brennweite die max. Blendenöffnung bei 5.0 liegt. Beachte auch, wie sich der zehn Jahre alte APS-C Sensor der 7D II in so einer Belichtungssituation mit ISO 8000 schlägt. 

Usually I do not repeat images or motifs in my stream. However, here I present the second young Mandarin duck in a row. In the previous photo I wrote that this chick in that image was late. The reason is visible in today's photo. Here you can see what most other young Mandarin Ducks look like at the beginning of July. In comparison you can see that fledging of the Mandarin Ducks must have taken place over about two to three months. The young lady on the foto today seems to be practicing strutting and I think she looks very elegant already.
Tech. Info: This little duck came pretty close to me. As you can see a zoom lens was mandatory to get this framing. Mind also that the aperture is f5 at this focal length. This brings me to the last point worth mentioning: you can see how the ten year old APS-C CMOS sensor of the 7D II copes with ISO 8000. I used some de-noising software from 2020 and I think, the result is usable.
