Stieglitze / Goldfinches - a photo on Flickriver

            Nach den letzten drei Fotos im Zusammenhang mit Nestbau und Nest stellt sich natürlich die Frage ob die Stieglitze erfolgreich waren? Die Antwort ist wie man auf dem heutigen Bild sieht "ja". Anscheinend erfolgt das Legen, Schlüpfen und flügge werden in (kleinen) zeitlichen Abständen. Während hier der erste junge Stieglitz bereits mit einem Elternteil umherfliegt fiept es aus dem Nest noch sehr vernehmlich. Mindestens ein Geschwisterchen ist also noch da. 

After the last three photos related to nest building and nesting, the question naturally arises whether the goldfinches were successful? The answer, as you can see in today's photo, is "yes". Apparently, laying, hatching and fledging take place at (short) intervals. While the first young goldfinch is already flying around with one of its parents, there is still a very noticeable chirping coming from the nest. So at least one more sibling did not fledge yet.
