Kegelrobbe in der Brandung / Grey Seal in the surf / in explore 20250706

Beim fotografieren von Kegelrobben hatte ich ziemlich schnell das Gefühl, dass es etwas schwierig ist sie "interessant" aufzunehmen. Ruck-zuck hatte ich eine ganze Reihe von Bildern "Kegelrobbe faulenzt am Strand" und "Kegelrobben Kopf schaut aus dem Wasser" auf der Speicherkarte. Gähn. Dann habe ich gesehen, dass die Robben irgendwie Freude an Wellen haben und sich beim rausschwimmen vom oder beim zurückkommen zum Strand deutlich agiler und verspielt zeigen. Da war sie, meine Chance auf ein abwechslungsreicheres Bild. Hier also mein Foto "Kegelrobben Kopf schaut aus dem Wasser", ergänzt um die Schaumkrone einer sich am Strand brechenden Welle. When photographing grey seals, I quickly had the feeling that it was a bit difficult to take ‘interesting’ pictures of them. In no time at all I had a whole series of pictures of ‘grey seal lazing on the beach’ and ‘grey seal head looking out of the water’ on my memory card. Yawn. Then I saw that the seals somehow enjoy waves and are much more agile and playful when swimming out from or coming back to the beach. There it was was, my oportunity for a more varied picture. So here is my photo ‘grey seal's head looking out of the water’, complemented by the whitecap of a wave crashing on the beach.
