1216 009-1 ÖBB I EC 83 I Sterzing / Vipiteno / Freienfeld (17294)

            Im nördlichen Bereich des Eisacktals war der Winter noch wesentlich deutlicher zu spüren, als einige Kilometer weiter südlich bei Albeins. Nicht nur die schneebedeckten Berggipfel der Zentralalpen, auch das noch bräunliche Grün verweisen auf den letzten Winter in Südtirol. Ungeachtet dessen eilte 1216 009-1 mit ihrem EC 83 auf dem Weg nach Bologna Centrale an der bekannten Fotostelle bei Freienfeld / Castelpietra vorbei. Auffällig sind die zahlreichen NightJet-Wagen, die immer häufiger Teil der sog. Brenner-EuroCitys geworden sind.

In the northern area of the Eisack Valley winter was felt much more clearly than a few kilometers further south at Albeins. Not only the snow-covered mountain peaks of the Central Alps, but also the still brownish green refer to the last winter in South Tyrol. Regardless of this, 1216 009-1 hurried past the well-known photo location near Freienfeld / Castelpietra on the way to Bologna Centrale with its EC 83. What is striking are the numerous NightJet cars, which have increasingly become part of the so-called Brenner EuroCities.
