Pontnewydd Aqueduct, Five Locks, Monmouthshire-Brecon Canal Pontnewydd 8 April 2025

            The western end of the aqueduct. The aqueduct carries the canal over the Blaen Bran Brook. The water is coming through the wall from the canal.

In my childhood this was referred to as "the Big Tunnel" as opposed to one a little further south, the "Little Tunnel", a small circular tunnel under the canal.
