Sainte-Chapelle de Vincennes - a photo on Flickriver

            The Sainte-Chapelle de Vincennes, the royal chapel of the Château de Vincennes, was based on the Sainte Chapelle of the Palais de la Cité in Paris. The plan was modified to have a single level, rather than two. Work began under Charles V of France in 1379, to house relics of the Passion of Christ. It was largely finished between 1390 and 1410.
