Restarting Loco 5024 on the side of a mountain

            This is the lead loco of a trio of helping locos.  We sat in the quiet of the evening short of the tunnel for 20 minutes of so, before the final push to the summit of the Donner Pass. 

This unit had shut down due to overheating several miles back and so the engineer took the opportunity to restart this loco whilst we were waiting.  

Here it is clagging away nicely ready for the final shove.
