Trouble in Rock Creek Canyon - a photo on Flickriver

            After a track inspector discovered a boulder on the track in Rock Creek Canyon, UP's P-Burg local was delayed several hours while track crews made efforts to remove it. After the main was cleared, the local is back on the move as they split the Rio Grande searchlights at West Crater. With sunlight typically on the other side of the tracks when this train runs, the delay caused by the aforementioned boulder gave us a rare opportunity to shoot this seldom seen control point in good sun.
