No Oil

            With the imminent demise of the semaphore signals at Pembrey & Burry Port I decided to have a final visit to record a few shots that included some semaphores. Of the shots captured this was my favourite, Class 66s make a pleasant change from a diet of Class 197s and IETs. Regeared 66652 works 6B41, the 11.45 Westerleigh to Robeston empty oiil tankers on 7 May 2025. I had to take off my shoes and socks to count the number of tankers, but I ran out of digits as there were 22! Note how the greenery on the right has been shaped by the passage of tarins.
