🌌 Voici à quoi ressemble la voûte céleste l’été quand vous vous allongez à même le sol .
Durant les mois de juillet à septembre, on peut admirer, en milieu/fin de nuit, ce bras de la Voie Lactée s’étendant du bulbe galactique jusqu’au Pléiades. C’est encore mieux de profiter de ce spectacle sous un ciel sombre, comme ici (malgré la proximité avec la ville de Carhaix), sur le magnifique site de la Vallée des Saints en Bretagne. La projection en dôme panoramique permet de simuler cette vision assez atypique du ciel nocturne. Je vous propose de défiler sur la deuxième image, tant il y a de choses à observer sous un tel ciel …

La Vallée des Saints est l’équivalent de l’île de Pâques bretonne, on s’y croirait tant c’est impressionnant. Les statues font environ 4m de haut et il y en avait environ 150 lors de ma venue en 2022. C’est à peine plus que 10% que ce qui est prévu d’être installé sur un siècle : le site prévoit d’accueillir 1000 statues uniques à terme . L’ambiance ici de nuit est vraiment particulière, on est tiraillé entre apaisement et sensation de se faire observer en permanence. En cours de nuit, un collègue astram est venu sur place avec un télescope pour faire admirer aux quelques campeurs du site la beauté des objets du ciel profond et des planètes (lumière rouge) : tout le monde est reparti des étoiles pleins les yeux .
