Everywhere was a mess... - a photo on Flickriver

            We took a short walk in my favourite little woodland but the rain the previous evening made the ground slick and slippery so it was more of a doddering totter tbh.. A few bits of colour remained such as Herb Robert and Red Campion but none looking their best so I looked for a silhouette instead. Thank you one and all for your patience in my catching up and your good wishes.
 I just uploaded this but adding a little grain because the sky was a bit uninteresting but painted back to the original for the rest which because a bit of weak sunshine was gilding the tops of the trees in the background leaving a little definition :)
I was using the Nikon d850 but and my old ai-s Nikon Nikkor 55mm 2.8 macro lens
