Black and White Squared - a photo on Flickriver

            A bit tricky -- black and white cat on black and white film. A Kodak Plus X Puss.  (A soft colour image of him can be seen in the comments.)

When a kitten, this little feller had the top of a femur removed after he was run over by a car. Not the sort of operation you can do on a horse, but he could jump fences, climb trees, and run with the best of them. He lived 16 years. When older especially, he tended to sit with one leg straight out in front. Because of that, he sometimes got called Oscar Crookshank.

His markings were nearly perfectly symmetrical except for an aberrant strip from bib to nose, but that somehow added to his dapper charm.
