Awaking beneath the ice - a photo on Flickriver

            Sometimes, it's refreshing to check the changing seasons from the bird's eye view, which is very evident in Siilinjärvi where a freight train with class Dv12 diesels is approaching the final stretch. During Sundays, the shunters of Yara's factory at Ruokosuo are changed with happens conveniently on this scheduled freight train, which would be normally pulled by electrics. While the diesels are slowing down, they aren't slowing enough to see the lakes awaking beneath the ice, which is a clear sing of spring.
