Zeiss-Ikon Contina III 529/24 - a photo on Flickriver

            My latest estate sale acquisition, a beautiful Zeiss Ikon Contina III, manufactured in Stuttgart, GE between 1955 and 1958.  This is probably the most mint camera I've ever acquired from an estate sate and I picked it up for $36.  Everything appears to work correctly, the focus ring, aperture/shutter speed rings, shutter, aperture, self-timer, light meter, etc.

I really love it when I find artifacts with the cameras I acquire at estates sales, here an old-school manually typed set of notes from the original owner detailing how to operate the camera.  

I've got the camera loaded with a roll of Foma 400 and I'll be working on shooting it this week.
