BNSF 1572 South, Greybull, Wyoming - a photo on Flickriver

            WYO-BEN's Magnet Cove bentonite plant is the last stop of the day for this particular crew's run of BNSF's Cowley Turn, which is a local that operates north out of Greybull, Wyoming on weekdays. Seen here crawling at 5mph, this train is just mere yards from railing over the switch to the plant, and their last eight cars of the train will be spotted into the plant before making the very quick last mile return to their home base yard in Greybull. Still getting their kicks far into the 21st Century, #1572 is a former SD45 of the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway, delivered in 1973 and now rebuilt and designated as an SD40-2R. Executive MAC #9621 was delivered in 1995 and isn't far away from her original home rails along the Powder River Basin. Quite the find in rural Wyoming!
