RRHMA Rocket at Atkinson - a photo on Flickriver

            It's the second and final day of the Railroading Heritage of Midwest America first main line excursions out of the Silvis Shop. This time, the train eastbound on the Iowa Interstate in Illinois. The "City of Bureau Junction" is on the east end of Atkinson as the IAIS main and U.S. HWY 6 come together. UP 6936 basks in the morning sun as it charges ahead. It was the main attraction of the weekend. After more than a decade on the shelf, the DDA40X drawing large crowds on both days was a great scene.
