Have you come to break my heart again?
You are so near, yet so far

And yet still you find me
From your world beyond the sun

I wanted to travel along the golden rays
To be with you, to be near you

But you stopped me
As you always do

‘I am the other side of the sun’ you said
And your time is not yet done

I will come and find you when it is time, my love
From my world, beyond the sun

I will take you back with me
And we will be together, on the other side of the sun

This image and poem belongs to a series of works on the theme of the mythology and wisdom of trees, much beloved in Celtic lore, placed up on my website.
