Another attempt at capturing my son playing league volleyball. This is TOUGH!
 
TECH NOTES: I left my "pro" style D300s bodies at home and took my tiny D3200 instead. While the D3200 lacks the AF speed and fast frame rate (8 fps vs 4 fps) of the D300s, it makes up for it in much better low light capability, allowing me to shoot at higher ISO settings, faster shutter speeds and smaller f-stops.
 
I also learned to set my focus point low and let the camera focus on Colin's leg or shorts which gives a sharp focus to the rest of his body instead of the camera selecting the net.
