245 036, IRE 3049, Grießen (Baden)...

            Noch verbinden lokbespannte Wendezüge alle zwei Stunden die Städte Friedrichshafen und Basel, doch damit könnte bald Schluss sein, denn bereits Anfang 2025 starten die Arbeiten zur Elektrifizierung der Hochrheinbahn im Abschnitt Erzingen - Basel. Am 29.7.24 war davon jedoch noch nichts zu sehen, als die Ulmer 245 036 den IRE 3049 mit Ziel Friedrichshafen Hafen durch den kleinen Ort Grießen (Baden) schob und demnächst Erzingen (Baden) erreichen wird.

Locomotive-hauled push-pull trains still connect the cities of Friedrichshafen and Basel every two hours, but this could soon be over, as work on the electrification of the Hochrheinbahn in the Erzingen - Basel section will start at the beginning of 2025. However, there was no sign of this on July 29, 2024 when the Ulm 245 036 pushed the IRE 3049 through the small town of Grießen (Baden) with the destination Friedrichshafen Hafen and will soon reach Erzingen (Baden).
