McKay's Bunting 1 - a photo on Flickriver

McKay's Bunting 1

            A McKay's Bunting (Plectrophenax hyperboreus), or at least a pretty solidly white McKay's / Snow Bunting hybrid, that was seen by quite a few birders near the tip of the Iona Jetty, near the Vancouver B.C. airport.  Most likely, the only one I will ever see, as they are few in number and live in the remotest, farthest flung places (look it up).  But once in awhile one wanders.  December 20, 2004.
