Le Marché Bonsecours et sa Chapelle.

            Le Marché Bonsecours est l’un des bâtiments les plus emblématiques de Montréal, situé dans le Vieux-Montréal. Construit en 1847, il a longtemps servi de marché public et même, brièvement, d’hôtel de ville. Aujourd’hui, c’est un centre culturel et commercial où l'on trouve des boutiques d’artisans québécois, des galeries d’art et des espaces événementiels.

Juste à côté du marché, il y a la Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours, l'une des plus anciennes églises de Montréal, construite en 1771. Surnommée la "chapelle des marins", elle abrite un musée et offre une vue magnifique sur le Vieux-Port depuis son belvédère. À l'intérieur, on peut admirer des vitraux, des ex-voto de marins et une statue de la Vierge qui veille sur le fleuve.

The Bonsecours Market is one of Montreal’s most iconic buildings, located in Old Montreal. Built in 1847, it served as a public market for many years and even briefly as City Hall. Today, it is a cultural and commercial hub featuring boutiques showcasing Quebec artisans, art galleries, and event spaces.

Right next to the market is Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel, one of the oldest churches in Montreal, built in 1771. Nicknamed the "Sailors' Church," it houses a museum and offers a stunning view of the Old Port from its lookout. Inside, you can admire stained-glass windows, sailors' ex-votos, and a statue of the Virgin Mary watching over the river.
