Alpine spring - a photo on Flickriver

Alpine spring

            From my recent alpine infrared safari, I of course carried a normal camera too even though it's a pain in the neck (a times literally) to have this heavy thing dangling around or find a place to put while screwing around on the tripod, changing filters etc.
Nice to share something 'real' once in a while, not roaming around in the near IR spectrum all the time. 😜
Am pretty ok with how it turned out, very clean, and the colors are nice / true for the harsh light, it was just past noon (since my main objective was IR, I was out midday). Got a decent sunburn too, at least the face and hands, with the strong sun early May up there and the snow reflecting it, one gets cooked pretty fast. 


Technically it's a 4-piece pano, cylindrical stitch, 13249 x 5734px, cropped to ~76MP. I'm not sure, but since it took just 4 photos, I presume I did it with 28mm.
