Near Sunrise - a photo on Flickriver

Near Sunrise

            Uploaded for the Smile on Saturday Challenge 'Sky'.  One from the archives, an amazing sunrise 4 yrs ago.  It was a rare morning, not a breath of wind but with movement in the clouds above which allowed for a 30 sec exposure to produce the bands of colour,  but the tree remained sharp. Very little post processing used beyond exposure adjustments, although it was shot as a JPEG (back in the days before I discovered Lightroom and started shooting in RAW)..
