"Putting the 'Mecha' in Mechanized" - a photo on Flickriver

Although suitably armed for a skirmish against Cobra's forces, the Joes can't help but ask about the necessity for a significantly larger, faster, and more heavily-armed ally by their side...

I've always been a sucker for smaller-scale vehicles, especially the ones that are so distinctly attuned for 3.75" action figures. From "G.I. Joe" to "Star Wars," the fleeting times that I was ever able to get just one vehicle as a kid was a massive landmark in my backyard battles. Fast forward to adulthood, and now I've since found myself getting increasingly more experimental with the kinds of "vehicles" I can get for my own collection. The "Dark Source" line of military sci-fi toys by JOYTOY caught my interest a few years ago, especially their feature of selling a whole mech with a scaled pilot figure. I finally decided to get one, and I was not disappointed. Aside from Gundam model kits, there are very few mecha toys that I've seen and collected that can actually capture the sense of large-scale that they should imply, but still being able to maintain the dynamic poseability of an action figure. Combined with my 3.75" Joes from the "Resolute" line - my personal favorite G.I. Joe iteration - "Iron Wrecker 02" has already proven itself to be a suitable extension of my figure collection.
