Gotta Go Fast!

            Yes, the Sonic Bonnet deserves a reference to the great hedgehog. NS 4000 is on the point of NS 264, seen here flying eastbound through the small town of Pinola, Indiana en route to Mechanicville, New York, to be interchanged to the B&E as train B101 for its final destination of Ayer. Massachusetts. 

This train had quite a long wait before they could reach this area, due to local NS B16 that was three trains ahead of them. They caught a bad car smoking and was forced into emergency to get rid of it. As a result, traffic came to a standstill on the Chicago Line so we had to wait for the following to pass before 4000 could go by. 17V, 23G, B16, 30Q, AND 16N all before 264 could go through. But, it was worth the wait.
