Lioness and Her Chosen Mate - a photo on Flickriver

            When a lioness enters estrus, she choses a mate to break away from the pride with her for 4 or so days. They spend their time mating, snoozing, and mating again- I was surprised to discover that mating would happen every half hour to an hour, all day.
