The Two Trees and the Cloud - a photo on Flickriver

            High up on this slope of the Vosges mountains, two trees stood proudly, watching over the valley at their feet, while a mischievous cloud played, shaping absurd forms at will.
Once upon a time, in France, there was a snowy and cold winter… Yes, it still happens sometimes.

Là-haut, sur ce pan de montagne vosgienne, trônaient deux arbres, veillant sur la vallée à leurs pieds, tandis qu’un nuage farceur s’amusait à dessiner des formes ubuesques à volonté.
Il était une fois, en France, un hiver neigeux et froid… Oui, cela arrive encore parfois.
