Part of NELA Parks annual display was to recognise the Cleveland Play House's Centennial.  The CPH had the movie "A Christmas Story" adapted to the stage and which has become its annual show.  NELA Park was the headquarters of the National Electric Lighting Association and became the world headquarters for General Electric's lighting division, which it remains to this day.
