This IL-62M was built in 1988 for Chosonminhang, the state flag carrier of North Korea which was renamed Air Koryo in 1992.

It was operated titleless on behalf of the North Korean government, and was captured on finals to runway 14 on a government flight.

Some sources reported P-882 in 2015 as no longer in service, others, however, state it still is in service, which would make it one of the last passenger carrying examples of the type.
