Parked on a dull day at its homebase, awaiting its next sortie.

Built in 1968, it was registered as HB-FDU all of its life, and operated by Sion-based Air Glaciers until a few years ago, when it was sold to Yankee Lima Suisse SA.

On 21 January 2025, the life of this rugged Porter came to a sudden end when during landing it veered off the runway at Aérodrome de Maripasoula, Guyane Française. The sole pilot on board experienced slight injuries and could walk away from the wreckage, the 57-years old veteran Porter, however, sadly is a write-off.

A good landing is when you can walk away from the plane. A perfect landing is when you can use the aircraft again (generally acknolwedged to Gerald R. Massie in 1944 after crash-landing his B-17).
