Delivered in 1971 to American Airlines, this 747-100 was converted to a freighter in 1974 and acquired by TMA in early 1975, still as N9676. By September 1975 it had become OD-AGC, and three months later it was involved in a runway overrun at Athens, receiving significant damage to the fuselage.

OD-AGC was repaired and put back into service, and as such was captured at Amsterdam, taxiing out for departure, with the repairs to the fuselage still clearly visible.

A few weeks after the photo was taken, the aircraft was sold to Pan Am, and then also flew with Flying Tigers, FedEx and UPS. It was retired at Roswell in 2008, and scrapped there sometime after.
