Operating a charter service from Rome to Zürich via Düsseldorf and back to Rome, this Airbus A.330-900 brought in over 200 passengers, thereby doing a type/airline first at Zürich.

Registered as EI-HJO, it was captured on finals to runway 14, completing ITY8911 from Düsseldorf. It carries ITA's current livery, and is named "Marco Tardelli", after a former Italian football player and club manager.

EI-HJO was built and delivered to ITA Airways in 2023, and with the Italian flag carrier in transition between alliances has already lost its Skyteam Alliance insignia, but is still awaiting a Star Alliance logo. EI-HJO is owned by Air Lease Corporation - hence the Irish registry - and is one of 11 of the type in service with ITA.

The photo is a homespotting shot, taken at 3 miles final, 2,100ft and 3km side distance, 1600mm, f8.0 and 1/500.
