Nantucket Lightship - a photo on Flickriver

            On this summer, night of August 2019 i met some friends in boston, fellow photographers to capture the harbor and cityscape.  It was a really windy night, so we couldn't use our tripods.  We were told that earlier in the day, another fellow photographer was there using his tripod with a weight, and the wind still caught it and tossed his very expensive gear into the harbor.  As we all can only imagine how sad that must have been to be that person.

Most of my friends also took pictures of this vessel but I noticed the pier having a loose nail and lifting plank.  So one of the things that I do quite often is put my camera on the ground or this night the dock.
