Photographer's Calling Card/Business Card - A. P. Webb, Youngstown, OH

As is often the case a post by another flickr member gave the push to do something I had been putting off. A post by Alan Mays of the calling card with a photograph of a minister sent me in search of some of our photographically embellished calling cards. I posting two of my favorites yesterday and will add a few more today.

This appears to be a calling card/business card for A. P. Webb, Practical Photographer of Youngstown OH. He proclaims "Life-Size Photographs A Specialty". It is embellished with a stamp photo which may be a portrait of Mr. Webb. The stamp text reads "Stamp [Genelli St. Louis] Photo" and "Pat Dec 29th 85" with "Compliments of A.P. Webb" printed beneath the stamp.

I just realized that I have a photograph by Webb posted on flickr. Even though Webb calls himself a "Practical Photographer" the photograph of a girl in pretend snow seems rather fanciful.

I have adding a subset of our photographically embellished calling cards and ID cards.
