The Lasdun Wall - a photo on Flickriver

The Lasdun Wall

            The Lasdun Wall at the University of East Anglia takes its name from the building's architect, Denys Lasdun.

Also known as the Teaching Wall, it extends over 400m in a shallow zigzag, separating the university's teaching areas from the ziggurat-shaped student accommodation blocks.

Controversially, building work has just begun which will refurbish and change the appearance of the Wall.
