sundial on Rose Garden wall at Anglesey Abbey

            This sundial is mounted on the wall of the Rose Garden at Anglesey Abbey, a National Trust property near Lode, Cambridgeshire.  It is decorated with a sun, a Tudor rose, a fleur-de-lis and a lion.  The inscription reads "Feare God. Obey Ye King."  A very similar sundial is set into the base of a statue in the Herbaceous Garden.
