DR 73912 . Bishop’s Stortford Station , Hertfordshire . Friday morning 11th-October-2019 .

            I would not as a rule make a special trip to my local station just to photograph a Track Machine . But as I was there for the RHTT and this was running 25 mins early , I decided to hang about for it . 

DR73912 is en-route from Broxbourne Down Tamper Siding to Ely Reception . 

This machine was constructed in 1999 by Plasser & Theurer Switch & Crossing Tamper and is a type 08-16 4x4C-RT 

Bishop’s Stortford , Hertfordshire .

A stopping train to Stratford, formed of 2 x class 317 Electric Multiple Units is snaking out of Platform 3 on to the Up Cambridge Msin Line
