I have a lot of scrap wood from my workshop that I will burn from time to time. Here some of the charcoal from such a fire, a hickory nut and other detritus from the trees have been washed and collected near another woodpile. I went out and saw hundreds of these tiny mushrooms all over the place the other day, so had to stop and make a few frames. This is really close, but not quite true macro. I have no idea what kind of mushrooms they are; the were all gone the next day. I just like mushrooms.
