This is the door to the Delfland Water Board. A very old building in the city center. The Water Board (est. 725 years ago) is the eldest part of our present democracy, older even than the house of representatives and the senate. It's main tasks are (1) maintenance of dikes and dams, (2) water level control, and (3) water quality control.
