A rusty hatch

There is an old building a few blocks from my house, in the wall of the building there is this small hatch, slightly open and in a very rusty condition. Each time I pass the building I feel the urge to open it and see what it is for. But I fear that it will break off and I end up in cuffs for vandalism....

In post I cropped it close to bring out the details more. A little colour correction is all.
