Crabtree UFO 21 Sep 2008_03 uc

            A UFO over Crabtree Plantation, Basingstoke.

While out for a walk in a local park I looked at the Moon and noticed a point of light below it.  It first I thought that it might have been Venus, bot it fluctuated in brightness and moved slowly in a westward direction.  

When I got home I enlarged the part of the image where the UFO is (inset),  It looks as if there is a crescent shaped shadow to the lower right with a bright spot opposite.  These feature line up nicely with the Sun angle exhibited by the Moon.  This would seem to suggest that the UFO was spherical.  

Therefore I reckon that there is a high chance that this UFO is a weather balloon.
