3852ex farming in the heights of the Andes

View from the Andean village of Rurucancha, Peru, situated at an altitude of over 12,000 ft. Farming has been the way of life here for centuries, and many of the methods have not changed. Bricks are still made by hand from locally available materials.

We were fortunate to be able to travel once more, and this was a huge bucket list trip--- Peru and Ecuador, with highlights of visits to the rainforest, Machu Picchu, and the Galapagos Islands. Lots more photos to come in the upcoming weeks.....
