'50 Oldsmobile 88, Rose Parade, January 1, 2014

            According to the announcer at the Rose Parade, this is a '39 Cadillac (!?). Apparently, he's not enough of a car nut to question what he's given to read on the air. (It's a 1950 Olds 88, by the way).

And yes, I'm going to keep my old-school 27" 4:3 flat screen CRT TV as long as it works. Any more questions?

UPDATE: It worked flawlessly until April of 2021, when the picture started going black, randomly, and I finally replaced it with a Samsung 32" 1080p flatscreen. I can only hope that it lasts 20 years, as this Sony did. By that time, I'll be -- older, lol.
