Kalloflex Mod.2 Transport & Counter Mechanism (06)

            Kowa Kalloflex Model 2.
Japanese MF 6x6 TLR produced c.1956

I had to open the camera because there is sometimes a problem that the Transport does not lock (so called auto stop) when reaching the next frame.  The Counter seems to work so not the same problem as I had with my Model 1.

The "problem" Lever pointed to by the toothpick as seen from the front side. 

Guess the Front Cover just touches it when the focus is set at infinity and so does hinder its free movement.

Well the Infinity check underneath the Auto-collimator did suggest a correction in the + direction (lens further out) so best solution would be to place spacers between the Focus Arms and the Lens Board.
If that proves to be not enough then I have to grind part of the tip of the Lever but that would really be a last resort.

Maybe spacers were removed and forgotten in an earlier repair attempt ??
