Rollei 35S Not as it should be (01) - a photo on Flickriver

Not as it should be.
The salesman wrote that this 35S was for repair as there was something not good with the shutter.

Inspection upon arrival revealed that the shutter could be cocked and fired but that the shutter blades would stay closed !!
Here you see the reason why. The Shutter Blades Lever (see red arrow) is in a complete wrong angular position and is not touched by its actuator when the shutter runs off.

This wrong position also results in problems when the lens has to be extended from the body.

The insert with the green check mark in the right bottom corner shows how it should be. This one is from a working Rollei 35.

If you have no experience in camera repair please do yourself a favor and send your camera to a professional service shop. It would be a pity to lose a vintage camera in a failed repair attempt like shown here !
