Super Ikonta A 530 Opening the Compur-Rapid (01)

German 4,5x6 rollfilm folder from 1935.

Well, first hurdle in opening that Compur shutter is removing the frontlens, a Tessar.

This will be though, it is frozen solid and i'm afraid to use excessive force so the slow and patient way has to be chosen. No quick job here.

The Tessars frontlens tube has a number engraved. Never saw something like this before. This number is the same as the last part of the serial number on the lens Namering ! Guess that parts were matched otherwise this wouldn't be necessary.

Also visible around the front part of the tube are 3 holes which correspondent with the 3 setscrews of the focus ring.
Now i understand why these setscrews were so long.
