Ford Falcon XA Ute - Ford Falcon FG FPV Pursuit Ute

            Teaming up with Dutchman Loek on the Ford Falcon New and Old challenge entry.

On one hand, there is a Lego Ford Falcon ute, designed by me.

On the other hand is a Lego Ford Falcon ute designed by someone else, based on a Falcon ute, designed by me.

You have seen my XA Falcon ute earlier in the challenge - a car launched about the same time I was born, and  about as early in the history of Ford Australia that I have access to with firsthand contact with the people who worked on it.

Ford the FG Falcon ute designed by Loek, this is the first automotive project I worked on when joining Ford Australia Product Development back in 2006. Namely, I worked on engine design for the six-cylinder engine. Loek, in his cruelly, selected the Pursuit, which is fitted with the 5.4 litre Modular V8, of which I had very little to do with.

Anyway, the Turbo six is better and faster, but V8 heads would never agree to this statement.

Great to do a buddy challenge, and great to see another builder interpret some of my own real-life work.

This Ford Falcon XA GT Ute and Ford FG Falcon FPV Pursuit ute are part of buddy challenge for Flickr LUGNuts 116th Build Challenge, - 'Pickups and Vans', - a challenge to build pickups and vans.
